Ingredients:

  • Boneless beef 1/2 kg
  • Raw papaya with peel 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Black cardamoms 4
  • Chickpeas roasted 1 tbsp
  • Button red chilies 7-8
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • White cardamom 1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
  • Bihari masala 1 tbsp
  • Ginger ground 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required

Method:

  1. Roast papaya, cardamoms, chickpeas, red chilies, poppy seeds, cumin, white cardamom, coriander seeds, bihari masala, ginger, lemon juice and salt and grind it.
  2. Now marinate beef with masalay for 1 hour.
  3. Then heat oil, spread marinated beef with masalay and cook until water dries.
  4. When water dries, spread ghee, give smoke of coal and simmer it.

Bihari Kabab is Pakistani BBQ Dish. It is specially eaten in Eid-ul-Adha. It is prepared with Beef, marinated with Bihari Masala and served with Parathay & Raita.
