Ingredients:

For Rice:

  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1/4 cup

For Beef Gravy:

  • Undercut (small pieces) 1/2 kg
  • Fried onion 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Cabbage (thinly slice) 1 cup
  • Grated carrot 1
  • Potato fries 1 cup fried
  • Boiled rice noodles 1/2 cup
  • Peanuts crushed 1/4 cup
  • Roasted sesame seeds 1 tbsp
  • Tamarind pulp 1 tbsp
  • Chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. For rice: Heat oil and fry rice.
  2. Now put red chili powder, salt and turmeric.
  3. Now cover it and cook until rice is ready.
  4. Then keep it aside.
  5. For gravy: Heat oil, put fried onion, ginger garlic, red chili powder, salt coriander powder, turmeric and yogurt and fry it nicely.
  6. Now add undercut and cook for 15 minutes till it tender.
  7. Then take it out.
  8. For assemble: Spread foil in serving dish and spread rice.
  9. Then put meat, boiled noodles, cabbage, carrot, potato fries, tamarind pulp, peanuts, coriander leaves, mint leaves and green chilies and wrap all ingredients with foil nicely.
  10. Now heat in oven in preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Burmese Pulao is Burma Cuisine. It is prepared of Rice & Beef and served with Potato Fries.
