Ingredients:

  • Mutton paya 6
  • Brown onion ground 1/2 cups
  • Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Whole spiced mixed 1 tbsp

For Chola:

  • Chickpeas boiled 2 cups
  • Ginger garlic 1 tsp
  • Tomato blended 1
  • Onion raw blended 1
  • White cumin roasted & crushed 1 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Boil paya with salt, turmeric, whole mixed spices and 8 cup water until it tender.
  2. Now strain stock.
  3. Heat oil in pan, add ginger garlic with salt, red chili powder, all spice, onion and yogurt and fry it nicely.
  4. Then put boiled paya and fry it nicely.
  5. Now add stock and cook until stock is thick.
  6. Then put boiled chickpeas and cook for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Then put coriander leaves, green chilies and ginger julienne and serve.
  8. For chola: Heat oil and fry ginger garlic, onion, tomato, all spice and white cumin nicely.
  9. Now put boiled chickpeas with 1 cup water and cook until it tender.

Paya Chola is traditional South Asian Dish. It is Popular Dish in Pakistan. People eat this Dish in Breakfast with Naan. You can also make this Dish on Eid-ul-Adha.
