Ingredients:

  • Mutton foot 6
  • Boiled white chickpeas 300 gm
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Red chili powder 3 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tbsp
  • Cloves 5-6
  • Bay leaves 1-2
  • Green cardamom 4-5
  • Onions 2
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Whole green chilies for decoration
  • Coriander leaves for decoration
  • Lemon for decoration
  • Whole ginger for decoration
  • All spice powder for garnish

Method:

  1. Put mutton foot in pot, put ginger garlic paste and onion and tender it for 4-5 hours.
  2. Now heat oil in other pan, put bay leaves, cloves and small cardamom and roast it.
  3. Then put remaining ginger garlic paste, yogurt, coriander powder, all spice powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder and salt and roast it nicely.
  4. When masala is ready, add chickpeas and mix it.
  5. Then add foot and cook on low flame.
  6. For bhagar: Fry onion and put in foot.
  7. Serve with green chilies, coriander leaves, lemon and ginger.

Chota Paya Chana is traditional South Asian Dish. It is common dish of Pakistan. It is usually eaten in breakfast and can also be eaten in dinner. It is served with Naan.
