Punjabi Beef Karahi by Shumaila

Ingredients:

  • Beef 1/2 kg
  • Chopped green chilies 4-5
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon powder 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Chopped tomatoes 4
  • Lemon 2
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Cooking oil 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Add beef, red chili powder, salt, all spice powder, yogurt, ginger garlic paste and ginger slices in pot, cook until water dries and add tomatoes, black pepper and cumin.
  2. Then add oil, cook until oil separates, sprinkle lemon juice, garnish with green chilies, coriander leaves and ginger and serve hot.

Punjabi Beef Karahi is spicy & mouth-washing dish. The flavor of green chilies is delicious and it is served with hot naan & raita.
