Achari Paneer Pulao

Ingredients:

  • Rice 2-1/2 cups
  • Lemons 2
  • Finely chopped onion 3
  • Finely chopped long green chilies 8
  • Oil 1 bowl
  • Cottage cheese cubes 2 packet
  • Onion seeds 1 tsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Roasted & crushed white cumin 1 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chilies1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Stock:

  • Water 4 cups
  • Garlic 1 pod
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger 1
  • Fennel 1 tsp
  • Whole coriander 1 tsp
  • Whole mix spice 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put oil in pot, fry onion until golden brown, take out half and spread it.
  2. Mix yogurt, white cumin and ginger garlic paste in half onion, roast it slightly and add stock.
  3. When it boils, drain water of soaked rice and put rice.
  4. Then add salt, stir it, cover it and cook it.
  5. When water dries, simmer it.
  6. Now shallow fry cottage cheese cubes in pan, keep it separate and fry green chilies.
  7. Then take out pulao in dish, put fried cheese, fried green chilies, fried green onion, onion seeds and lemon juice.
  8. Serve achari paneer pulao with raita.
  9. For stock: Put all ingredients in water, cook it, make stock and strain it.

Achari Paneer Pulao is wonderful & tasty dish. It is prepared with different variation. Cottage cheese is used. Eat this pulao dish.
