Chana Keema Pulao

Ingredients:

  • Boiled white chickpeas 1/2 kg
  • Sela rice 1/2 kg
  • Beef mince 300 gm
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Pulao masala 2 tbsp
  • Chicken cube 1
  • Brown onion 1
  • Oil 4-5 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Pulao Masala:

  • Whole black pepper 2 tbsp
  • Nutmeg 1/2 tsp
  • Mace 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon 3
  • Small cardamom 10
  • Black cumin 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Fry all pulao masala ingredients and grind it.
  2. This masala is for 2 kg.
  3. Clean rice and soak for 2 hours.
  4. Now heat oil in pan, fry onion, add ginger garlic and roast it.
  5. Then add beef mince and roast it.
  6. Then add yogurt and pulao masala, mix it nicely and cook it.
  7. Now add chickpeas and mix it.
  8. Then add soaked rice, chicken cube and water and cook until rice is ready.
  9. Now simmer it.
  10. When simmer is completed, take out in dish, garnish with brown onion and serve.

Chana Keema Pulao is very tasty dish. Beef mince is used with chickpeas to prepare this dish. You can some vegetables and served with raita.
