Ingredients:

  • Rice 250 gm
  • Moong daal 1/4 cup
  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Carrot 1/4 cup
  • Mix vegetables 1-1/2 cup
  • Water 2 cups
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Mix whole spices 1 tbsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Whole green chilies 2
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Fried onion 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Wash rice and daal and soak together in water for 30 minutes.
  2. Now heat ghee, add whole spices, cumin, onion, ginger garlic paste, salt, green chilies and yogurt and fry it.
  3. Then add rice and daal and fry for 5 minutes.
  4. Now put water, cover it and cook until vegetables tender.
  5. Then simmer it.

Rang Birangi Khichdi is tasty dish. It is prepared with rice, moong daal and mix vegetables. You must try this dish.
