Sabzi Pulao

Ingredients:

  • Boiled rice 1/2 kg
  • Peas 1 cup
  • Potatoes 2
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Carrots 2
  • Green chilies 6
  • Butter 50 gm
  • Raisins 100 gm
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 4 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat butter, put black pepper, salt, cumin, green chilies and water and cook on low flame.
  2. When 1 cup stock remains, close stove.
  3. Then heat oil in other pot, fry potatoes, tomatoes, carrots and peas and add water.
  4. When vegetables tender, put boiled rice and salt and mix it.
  5. Then add raisins and stock and simmer it for 20 minutes.
  6. Sabzi pulao is ready.

Sabzi Pulao is tasty dish. It is prepared with 4 vegetables. Raisins in also added. You can add some more vegetables. Serve with raita.
