Ingredients:

  • Green chilies 200 gm
  • Whole coriander 2 tsp
  • Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Desiccated coconut 1 tbsp
  • Peanut 1 tbsp
  • Cumin roasted & crushed 2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp

For Bhagar:

  • Oil 3/4 cup
  • Whole red chilies 6
  • Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves 15-20
  • Ginger garlic 2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1 tsp
  • Tamarind pulp 2 tbsp
  • Onion (roasted & ground) 1

Method:

  1. Roast coriander, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, coconut and peanuts and grind it.
  2. Roast onion in oven, grind it and add with grinded masalay.
  3. Mark cut on green chilies in center.
  4. Heat oil and fry bhagar masalay with 1/2 cup water.
  5. Now add green chilies, grinded masalay, tamarind pulp and all ingredients, cook on low flame for 15 minutes and serve.

Deccani Mirchein is spicy & tasty dish. Prepared with green chilies and given bhagar with spices. Serve with roti.
