Vegetable Mutton Biryani Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Big potatoes 2
  • Peas 1 cup
  • Fried onion 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tbsp
  • Mix all spice 1 tsp
  • Saffron 1/4 tsp
  • White cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Oil 3/4 cup
  • Kewra 1 tsp

For Rice:

  • Black cumin 1 tsp
  • Mix whole spice 1 tbsp
  • Salt 2 tbsp
  • Yellow color 1/4 tsp

Method:

  1. Boil potatoes and peas.
  2. Now heat oil, put ginger garlic paste, red chili, salt and 1/2 cup water, add mutton, yogurt and fried onion, fry it, cover it and cook until meat tenders.
  3. Now mix all spice and white cumin powder.
  4. Boil rice and put salt and mix whole spice.
  5. Now make layer of half rice in pot, put meat  mixture, fried & boiled potatoes, peas and remaining rice, put kewra, saffron and yellow color and serve.

Vegetable Mutton Biryani is tasty biryani. Combination of vegetable & mutton is amazing. You can prepare it with chicken or beef also and can also add some more vegetables. Serve with raita and salad.
