Saffron Rice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Rice 1 kg
  • Saffron 20 gm
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Bay leaves 1-2
  • Nutmeg 4-5
  • Ghee 1 cup

Direction:

  1. Soak rice for 30 minutes.
  2. Now heat ghee in pan and put bay leaves and nutmeg.
  3. Then put onion, water, saffron and rice and cook for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Then cover it and simmer it.

Saffron Rice is amazing rice dish. Rice is cooked in ghee with saffron and simmered. Serve with achar or raita.
