Ingredients for Punjabi Chana Masala:

  • Desi chanay 250 gm
  • Onion 2
  • Ginger 1 tsp
  • Garlic 1 tsp
  • Degi mirch powder 1 tsp
  • Tomato 2
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Garam masala 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric 1 pinch
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Clove 7
  • Fennel 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander 1 bunch

Method:

  1. Soak chanay over night and boil it.
  2. Heat oil, put white cumin, clove and fennel.
  3. Then add finely chopped onion, ginger, garlic, blended tomato, salt, degi mirch powder, turmeric, coriander powder and garam masala and roast it.
  4. Now put chanay and cook for a while. Then put chopped coriander.
  5. Serve with bhatura.
