Stuffed Curry Bun by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Flour 500 gm
  • Yeast 2 tbsp
  • Curry powder 3-4 tbsp
  • Baking powder 2 tbsp
  • Egg 1-2
  • Butter 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste

For Stuffing:

  • Boiled potatoes 3-4
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Garlic chopped 3-4 cloves
  • Curry powder 2 tbsp
  • Flax seeds 2 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. For curry bun: Add yeast and sugar in lukewarm water and leave it.
  2. When it becomes yeast, add flour, butter, salt, eggs, curry powder and baking powder in one bowl, knead with yeast, cover it and leave on warm place.
  3. Now take it out and make portions.
  4. For curry: Boil potatoes and cut into finely slice.
  5. Heat oil in karahi pan, add onion and garlic and saute it lightly.
  6. Then add curry powder, salt and potatoes and take out in one dish.
  7. Curry is ready.
  8. Now fill portions with curry and close like bun.
  9. Brush with eggs on top and sprinkle flex seeds.
  10. Then bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C for 10-12 minutes, take out and serve.
