For Jelly Roll:

  • Eggs 3
  • Flour 3 oz
  • Sugar 3 oz
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp

For Filling:

  • Egg yolks 2
  • Corn flour 1 tsp
  • Sugar 3 oz
  • Milk 3/4 cup
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  • Gelatin powder 1 tbsp
  • Fresh cream 2 cup
  • Fruit cocktail 1 cup


  1. Beat eggs and add sugar until fluffy.
  2. Now fold in flour. Then add baking powder and vanilla essence.
  3. Now grease tray, keep paper, spread mixture and bake on 200 degrees C for 10 minutes.
  4. Then take it out, cover clean cloth, sprinkle sugar and spread jam. Now roll it and cut in 1-1/2 cm thick.
  5. Now line jelly roll in glass bowl and put fruit cocktail.
  6. Then put cake syrup and keep in fridge.
  7. For filling: Beat egg yolks, corn flour and sugar until foamy.
  8. Now add milk, cook on low flame and stir it until custard in some thick.
  9. Then remove from stove and add vanilla essence.
  10. Now dissolve gelatin powder in some water and add in custard.
  11. Now keep custard for cool. Then put fresh cream in custard.
  12. Put custard in jelly mould and cool it until hard.
  13. Now put bowl in lukewarm water, turn it on plate, garnish with fresh cream and serve.
