Ingredients:

  • Eggs 8
  • Khoya 1/2 kg
  • Small cardamom 8
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Saffron or Yellow food color 1 pinch
  • Ghee 2 cups
  • Boiled pistachio 15
  • Boiled almonds 15
  • Silver paper as required

Method:

  1. Mix cardamom and 1 tbsp sugar and grind it.
  2. Now mix eggs, khoya, saffron or food color and cardamom and mix in blender nicely.
  3. Then put in bowl and add ghee.
  4. Then put in big wok (karahi pan) start roast and stir it.
  5. When eggs becomes pieces and oil separates, roast it slowly slowly until all ingredients are mixed.
  6. When ghee separates completely, halwa is ready.
  7. Grease thal and spread halwa.
  8. In end, decorate with almonds, pistachio and silver paper.
