Ingredients:

  • Fish 1 1/2 kg
  • Oil - for frying
  • Salt - as required
  • Ginger garlic paste - as required

Ingredients for red masala:

  • Basin - 2 tbsp
  • Zeera - 1 tbsp
  • Crushed red pepper - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric - 1 tsp
  • Ajwain - 1/2 tsp

Ingredients for Green Masala:

  • Mint Leaves - 1 bunch
  • Fresh coriander - 1 bunch
  • Green Chilies - 4 to 5
  • Water - a little
* Grind all ingredients for green masala together.

Method:

  1. Make cuts on fish and marinate it with ginger garlic paste and salt.  
  2. Make a batter adding all the ingredients for red masala or Green masla and some water except fish.
  3. Marinate fish with the batter you have made and keep it in fridge for 1 hour.
  4. Now deep fry the fish for 8 to 9 minutes.
  5. Serve hot and crispy.
