Japanese Beef & Rice Mould by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Boneless undercut 300 gm
  • Crushed garlic 1 tsp
  • Meat tenderizer 1/2 tsp
  • Dark soya sauce 3 tbsp
  • Brown sugar 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Sesame seeds 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies 2
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Boiled rice 2 cups

Method:

  1. Marinate undercut with brown sugar, soya sauce, meat tenderizer, oil and vinegar for 30 minutes.
  2. The heat oil in pan, add sesame seeds, garlic and green chilies, add marinated undercut and cook on high flame till water dries.
  3. For rice: Put rice with salt, black pepper, garlic and vinegar in pan, saute it and serve it.
