Cheesy Bharay Samosay by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

For Samosay Patties:

  • Maida 300 gm
  • Carom seeds 1/3 tsp
  • Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

For Filling:

  • Boiled chicken 300 gm
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed mozzarella cheese 150 gm
  • Oregano 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped capsicum 1
  • Chopped tomato 1
  • Maida 2-3 tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. For patties: Put maida in mixing bowl.
  2. Now add ghee, carom seeds, salt and water as required, knead it and leave it for a while.
  3. Then cut into round patties.
  4. For filling: Put chicken, garlic paste, lemon juice, black pepper, oregano, cheese, capsicum, tomato and salt in mixing bowl, fill in patties.
  5. Dissolve maida in lukewarm water, make lappi, spread on edge of patties and close it.
  6. Then heat oil in pan, fry samosay and serve with sauce.
