Ingredients:

  • Boiled Bengal gram 500 gm
  • Fresh desiccated coconut 100 gm
  • Ginger garlic chopped 1 tbsp
  • Finely chopped tomatoes 3-4
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 tbsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Green chilies 3-4
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Bhagar:

  • Whole cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves 3-4

Method:

  1. Add ginger garlic and oil in pan and fry it.
  2. Now add tomatoes and roast it.
  3. Then add Bengal gram and mix it.
  4. Then add turmeric, black pepper, red chili, all spice and salt and mix it.
  5. Also add water as required and cook it.
  6. Now add coconut and mix it.
  7. Then add green chilies and mix it.
  8. Now take out in dish, give bhagar of cumin seeds and curry leaves and serve.
