Ingredients:

  • Chana daal 1-1/2 cup
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Ginger 1 inch
  • Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  • Water 2-1/2 cup
  • Bread 4 slices
  • Potatoes (boiled & mashed) 1 cup
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Dried mango powder 1/2 tsp
  • Flour to coat
  • Mint leaves chopped 2 tbsp
  • Onion finely chopped 1
  • Green chilies chopped 3
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Egg to coat
  • Crumbs to coat
  • Red pepper crushed 1-1/2 tsp
  • Cumin crushed 1 tsp

To Assemble:

  • Burger buns 4
  • Cucumber 4 slices
  • Tomatoes 4 slices
  • Salad leaves few
  • Tamarind chutney to serve

Method:

  1. Boil chana daal with salt, ginger, garlic and water until daal tender and water dries.
  2. Now add potatoes, bread slices, all spice, mango powder, mint leaves, onion, green chilies and salt.
  3. Then make kabab of mixture and dip in beaten eggs.
  4. Then roll bread crumbs and deep fry it.
