Dum Ka Keema by Zubaida Tariq

Ingredients:

  • Beef/Mutton mince 1 kg
  • Yogurt 1/2 kg
  • Chopped mint leaves 1 bunch
  • Ghee/Oil 1 cup
  • Chopped green chilies 4
  • Lemons 6
  • Small cardamom 6
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Black cumin 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Roasted chickpeas 2 tbsp
  • Raw papaya paste 2-1/2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Mix mince, yogurt, salt, red chili powder and raw papaya paste nicely in bowl.
  2. Then grind roasted chickpeas, poppy seeds, small cardamom and white cumin finely and mix in mince.
  3. Now mix 4 lemon juice, mint leaves and green chilies, add oil and keep on stove.
  4. When water of mince dries, mix some oil and lemon juice and simmer on tawa.
  5. When steam comes up, remove from stove.
  6. Then put onion rings, mint leaves, green chilies and lemon juice and serve hot.

Zubaida Tariq has made Dum Ka Keema with different method. It is easy dish to make. It is prepared with Mince & Yogurt, simmered on tawa, garnished with Mint Leaves, Green Chilies & Onions and served with Naan & Raita.
