Ingredients:

For Base:

  • Butter 2 oz
  • Brown sugar 2 oz
  • Pineapple slices 6-8
  • Cherries as required

For Cake:

  • Butter 8 oz
  • Caster sugar 8 oz
  • Flour 8 oz
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Pineapple essence 1 tsp
  • Eggs 4
  • Yellow color few drops
  • Pineapple syrup 1/4 cup

Method:

  1. For base: Melt butter and put in 9 inch cake tin.
  2. Now sprinkle brown sugar.
  3. Then spread pineapple slice and keep cherry in between pineapple.
  4. For cake: Heat oven on mark 4.
  5. Now sieve flour and baking powder 3 times.
  6. Then beat butter and caster sugar until light and fluffy.
  7. Now add eggs one by one, put each egg and beat it nicely.
  8. Then put pineapple essence and yellow color.
  9. Now fold it in sieved flour and baking powder with pineapple syrup.
  10. Now mix it lightly.
  11. Now put on base and bake for 45 minutes.
  12. Then cool it and serve.

Pineapple Upside Down Cake is Delicious Dessert. It is Other Variety of Cake. It is baked, turned over and served upside down.
