Cinnamon Roll

Ingredients:

  • Water 1/4 cup
  • Milk 1/2 cup
  • Butter 4 oz
  • Eggs 2
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1/4 cup
  • Brown sugar 2 tbsp
  • Bread improver 1 tbsp
  • Yeast 1-1/2 tsp
  • Maida 2-3/4 cups
  • Salt 1 pinch

For Filling:

  • Butter 3 oz
  • Brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Cinnamon powder 2 tsp

For Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • Butter 4 oz
  • Cream cheese 5 tbsp
  • Icing sugar 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Melt butter with water and milk.
  2. Now cool it and add sugar, brown sugar, salt and eggs.
  3. Then put vanilla essence and beat it nicely.
  4. Now put yeast and maida gradually gradually in mixture, make soft dough and leave for 1 hour.
  5. When dough doubles, press with hands and roll rectangle.
  6. Now spread it, brush with butter, put sugar and cinnamon powder in center and roll like Swiss roll.
  7. Now cut it in 1 inch piece, keep on greased tray and leave for 15 minutes.
  8. Now brush with egg, spray water and bake it for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Now spray more water.
  10. Now spread cream cheese frosting and serve it.

Cinnamon Roll is sweet roll. Its origin is Sweden. It is also commonly served in Northern Europe & North America. It is eaten in breakfast & it is topped with cream cheese.
