Ingredients:

  • Green chilies 250-300 gm
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Curry leaves 8-10
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Onion 1
  • Tomato 1
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Ginger 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/4 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Tara garam masala 1 tsp
  • Tamarind pulp 1/4 cup
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp

For Stuffing:

  • Whole coriander 3 tbsp
  • Dried pomegranate seeds 3 tbsp
  • Whole cumin 2 tsp
  • Red chili flakes 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Garlic 2-3 cloves
  • Water 2-3 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put stuffing ingredients in chopper and make chutney.
  2. Cut green chilies from center and fill with chutney.
  3. Then put mustard seeds, curry leaves, onion, tomato, garlic, ginger, red chili powder, turmeric and tara garam masala in pan, fry it, make smooth masala, add masala filled green chilies and tamarind pulp, cover pan and simmer it.
  4. Then garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

Hari Mirch Ka Salan is spicy dish. Green chilies is stuffed chutney & served with gravy.
