Ingredients:

  • Semolina 250 gm
  • Ghee 250 gm
  • Khoya 250 gm
  • Milk 750 gm
  • Cardamom 4
  • Sugar 1-1/2 cup
  • Kewra 1 tsp
  • Almonds, Pistachio as required

Method:

  1. Soak semolina before 2 hours.
  2. Then heat ghee and roast semolina.
  3. When ghee comes up, put sugar and roast more.
  4. Now add crushed cardamom.
  5. Also put kewra and khoya and roast it little.
  6. Then take out in dish, sprinkle almonds and pistachio and serve.

Makhandi Halwa is delicious Punjabi cuisine. It is prepared with semolina. Try this halwa at home.
