Lady Finger Stew

Ingredients:

  • White beans 100 gm
  • Okra (lady fingers) 300 gm
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Onion 1
  • Tomato paste 1/4 cup
  • Chicken cubes 1/2 kg
  • Tara garam masala 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Garlic 2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Green cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan, saute garlic, add onion, tomatoes, tomato paste, chicken cubes and all masalay and cook on low flame.
  2. When tomatoes and onion are soft, add boiled white beans and 1-1/2 cup water and cook more on low flame.
  3. Then add okra, cover it, simmer it for 6-8 minutes and serve.

Lady Finger Stew is different recipe. Then addition of white beans is wonderful. It is served with naan or roti.
