Kofta Palak

Ingredients:

  • Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
  • Fried onion 1 cup
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic 1 tsp
  • Egg 1
  • All spice powder 1/2 tsp

For Gravy:

  • Boiled spinach paste 1 kg
  • Yogurt 250 gm
  • Onion paste 1 cup
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilies 10
  • Fenugreek seeds 4 tbsp
  • Oil 1 cup

Method:

  1. Put chicken and onion paste in chopper and grind it.
  2. Now put salt, ginger garlic paste, egg and all spice powder and make koftay.
  3. For gravy: Heat oil and put onion paste.
  4. When onion is brown, add ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin, salt and fenugreek seeds and roast it nicely.
  5. When oil comes up, put koftay and cook for 10 minutes.
  6. Then put spinach and cook for 30 minutes on low flame.
  7. Now add green chilies and cover it for 10 minutes on low flame.
  8. Then close stove.
  9. Kofta palak is ready.

Kofta Palak is delicious dish. Kofta is prepared of chicken and served in spinach gravy. Try this different kofta dish at home and serve with rice.
