Aloo Mirch Aur Pyaz Ka Achar

  • Green chilies 100 gm
  • Potatoes (peeled & cubed) 250 gm
  • Mint leaves 1/4 cup
  • Baby onion 100 gm
  • Garlic peeled 1 pod
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Vinegar 1/4 cup
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 3 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Mustard powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp


  1. Fry green chilies in wok and take it out.
  2. Now fry potatoes on low flame and keep it aside.
  3. Then fry cumin seeds, onion seeds and mustard seeds in oil.
  4. Mix fried green chilies, fried potatoes, garlic, onion, red chili powder, cumin, mustard, salt and vinegar in bowl.
  5. Then mix with cold oil, cumin seeds and onion seeds tarka, keep in jar and refrigerate it.

Aloo Mirch Aur Pyaz Ka Achar is amazing achar. It is prepared with green chilies, potatoes and baby onion. You can serve it any time with hot roti.
