Roast Leg

Ingredients:

  • Lamb leg 1/2 kg
  • Onions 2
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies 4
  • Curry leaves 3 sprigs
  • Coriander leaves handful
  • Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 3/4 tsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Masala:

  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Cardamom 3

Method:

  1. Roast black pepper, cumin and cardamom, grind it, make finely powder and keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in pan and fry ginger garlic paste.
  3. Then add onion, green chilies and curry leaves and fry until ready.
  4. Now add tomatoes and fry until mash.
  5. Then put red chili powder, coriander, turmeric and all spice, mix it nicely for 1 hour and fry it.
  6. Then add lamb leg and saute it.
  7. Then put grinded masalay, mix it nicely and put in pressure cooker.
  8. Now add lemon juice and water and cook until meat is ready.
  9. Now open pressure cooker.
  10. If there is water and cook until it dries.
  11. Then roast it nicely on low flame.

Roast Leg is wonderful dish. It is prepared with lamb leg. It is cooked in pressure cooker. You can make it with mutton or beef.
