Ingredients:

  • Prawns cleaned 1/2 kg
  • Chopped onion 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Black cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Crushed green chilies 10
  • Crushed coriander leaves 3 tbsp
  • Crushed poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Melon seed 1 tbsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Grind green chilies and coriander leaves.
  2. Now roast poppy seeds and melon seeds, grind it and make paste.
  3. Heat oil and fry onion.
  4. Now put ginger garlic, green chilies paste, poppy seeds & melon seeds paste and yogurt and fry it.
  5. Then add prawns and simmer it for 10 minutes.
  6. Then put all spice and lemon juice and serve.

Hari Mirchi Ky Jheengay is spicy & tasty dish. Common ingredients are used in this dish. It is served with rice.
