Ingredients:

  • Whole chicken 1
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Carrot 1/2 kg
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tbsp
  • Raisins 4 tbsp
  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Almonds 100 gm
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 2 tsp
  • Onion 1
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Sugar 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Put red chili powder and 1/2 tsp salt in chicken and boil it.
  2. Then heat ghee and fry onion until brown.
  3. Now add chicken and 1 tsp salt.
  4. When boils comes, put soaked rice and black pepper, cook it and simmer it.
  5. Then cut carrot into julienne, put raisins, almonds, oil and sugar and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Then put on simmered rice and close stove.
  7. Then mix it, take out in dish and serve.

Dum Pukht Murgh is tasty dish. It is prepared with whole chicken, carrots and nuts. It is served with rice and raita. Try this recipe for change.
