Ghee Rice

Ingredients:

  • Rice 1 cup
  • Onion slice 1
  • Cloves 3-4
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Cinnamon 1 inch
  • Cardamom 2-3
  • Ghee 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Wash rice and soak for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat ghee in pan and add bay leaf, cinnamon, cardamom and cloves.
  3. Now fry onion until soft.
  4. Then put rice and fry more.
  5. Put 1-1/2 cup water, add salt, cover pan and bring to boil on high flame.
  6. Then cook for 15-20 minutes on low flame until water absorbs in rice.
  7. Serve with hot chicken stew.

Ghee Rice is tasty dish. It is new rice dish. Rice is cooked in ghee and served with chicken stew.
