  • Chicken strips 250 gm
  • Japanese rice 2 cups
  • Black mushroom rice 1/2 cup
  • Mushroom 5-6
  • Chicken stock as required
  • Japanese soya sauce 4 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped 4-5 cloves
  • Chinese salt 1 pinch
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Sesame oil 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste


  1. Cut chicken into julienne.
  2. Now heat oil in pan and fry garlic.
  3. Then add chicken strips and fry it.
  4. Now add black mushrooms, soya sauce, garlic chopped, Chinese salt, salt, sesame oil and mushrooms, mix it and cook it.
  5. Now add stock and rice and simmer it.
  6. Then take out in dish and serve.

Kamameshi Rice is traditional Japanese rice. It is prepared with Japanese rice, chicken and mushrooms. You must try this rice dish.
