  • Whole chicken 1-1/2 kg
  • Yogurt 1-1/2 cups
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • White vinegar 1/2 cup
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Lemon juice 3
  • Crushed black pepper 1 tsp
  • Boiled potatoes as required


  1. Mark deep cut on chicken.
  2. Now wash it nicely and marinate with yogurt, ginger garlic paste, vinegar, soya sauce and salt for 30 minutes.
  3. Then keep chicken in big pot, cover it and cook on low flame.
  4. When water of chicken dries, add oil, lemon juice and black pepper and simmer it for 10 minutes.
  5. Delicious yogurt steamed chicken is ready.
  6. Served with fried boiled potatoes.

Yogurt Steamed Chicken is delicious chicken. Whole chicken is marinated, cooked and then steamed. Served with naan and raita.
