Tomato Chutney Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes 500 gm
  • Cumin seeds 1-1/2 tsp
  • Desiccated coconut 1 tbsp
  • Red chilies 6-8
  • Crushed garlic 1 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Curry leaves 8-10
  • Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp

Method:

  1. Put tomatoes, cumin seeds, coconut, red chilies, crushed garlic, black pepper and salt in blender and blend it.
  2. Now put mixture in sauce pan.
  3. Also put lemon juice, sugar and oil and boil it.
  4. Now heat oil in small pan and fry curry leaves, mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds.
  5. Now put blended tomatoes.
  6. Then cool it and fill in jar.

Tomato Chutney is amazing chutney. Tomatoes in blended with spices and boiled with sugar & lemon juice. Serve with roll and samosa.
