Kofta Masala Recipe

  • Beef mince 1/2 kg
  • Roasted chickpeas 2 tbsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Black cumin 1 tsp
  • All spice few
  • Salt to taste
  • Bread slices 2
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Mint leaves finely chopped 1/2 bunch
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped 1/2 bunch
  • Green chilies finely chopped 4

For Masala:

  • Raw onion paste 2
  • Tomato puree 1/2 cup
  • All spice powder 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Green chilies finely chopped 4
  • Crushed ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1 cup


  1. Mix chickpeas, white cumin, black cumin, all spice and poppy seeds and grind finely.
  2. Now mix grinded masala and bread slices in mince and chop in chopper.
  3. Then mix green chilies, mint leaves and coriander leaves, make small koftay and shallow fry in frying pan.
  4. For masala: Now heat oil in pot and fry onion until light pink.
  5. Then add ginger garlic, turmeric and red chili powder and roast it slightly.
  6. Put tomato puree, green chilies and all spice.
  7. Also put fried koftay.
  8. Then put green chilies and coriander leaves and simmer it for 10 minutes.
  9. Kofta masala is ready.
