Baabri Gosht Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Mutton 1/2 kg
  • Dried apricot 50 gm
  • Walnuts 50 gm
  • Raisins 50 gm
  • Yogurt 1-1/2 cup
  • White pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon 2-3 sticks
  • Cloves 3-4
  • Onion 2
  • Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • Chopped garlic 2 tbsp
  • Chopped tomatoes 3 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red chilies 1 tbsp
  • Chopped green chilies 4-5
  • All spice powder 1/2 tsp
  • Cream 3 tbsp
  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Salt to taste

Direction:

  1. Heat ghee in pan, put cinnamon, cloves, ginger and garlic, add mutton and roast on high flame for 4-5 minutes.
  2. Now add fried onions.
  3. Then add yogurt and water as required and tender it.
  4. When meat tender and water dries, add white pepper powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, crushed red chilies and all spice powder and roast for 3-4 hours.
  5. Now put tomatoes, green chilies, salt, dried apricots, walnuts and raisins and leave for 10 minutes.
  6. When tomatoes tender, add cream, mix it and take out in dish.
  7. Babri gosht is ready.

Baabri Gosht is tasty dish. Mutton is cooked and mixed with dried apricots, nuts, yogurt, green chilies, tomatoes and cream. Serve with rice or naan.
