Dum Ka Keema Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Beef or Mutton mince 1 kg
  • Yogurt 1/2 kg
  • Mint leaves chopped 1 bunch
  • Ghee or Oil 1 cup
  • Green chilies chopped 4
  • Lemons 6
  • Small cardamom 6
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Black cumin 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp
  • Roasted chickpeas 2 tbsp
  • Raw papaya paste 2-1/2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Direction:

  1. Mix mince, yogurt, salt, red chili powder, ginger garlic and raw papaya paste in bowl.
  2. Then grind chickpeas, poppy seeds, cardamom and white cumin finely and mix with mince.
  3. Now mix lemon juice, green chilies and mint leaves, add oil and keep on stove.
  4. When water of mince dries, put little oil and more lemon juice and simmer it on tawa.
  5. When steam comes, remove mince.
  6. Then put lemon onion rings, mint leaves, green chilies and lemon juice and serve hot.

Dum Ka Keema is tasty dish. Beef or mutton mince is mixed with yogurt, paste and spices. Then simmer on tawa. Then topped with onion rings, green chilies, mint leaves & lemon juice and serve with naan & raita.
