  • Vermicelli 1/2 kg
  • Chopped almonds 10
  • Green cardamom 6
  • Ghee 4 tbsp
  • Sugar 3 cups
  • Chopped pistachios 10
  • Water 1 cup


  1. Heat ghee and put sugar with green cardamom.
  2. When aroma comes, put vermicelli, roast it and take out in thal.
  3. Now put sugar and water in pot, cook it, put roasted vermicelli and mava and simmer it on low flame.
  4. When water dries, take out in dish, garnish with almonds and pistachios and serve.

Zarda is delicious sweet dish. Vermicelli is roasted in ghee, garnished with almonds & pistachios and served. You must try this recipe
