Fruit Trifle Recipe

Fruit Trifle is delicious and mouth-washing sweet dish. Make it at home and surprise your family.


  • Bananas slices 4
  • Apples slices 4
  • Pineapples slices 10
  • Strawberries 10
  • Cherries for garnish
  • Sweet melon cubes 1 medium
  • Milk 1 liter
  • Sugar 200 gm
  • Cake crushed 1/2 cup
  • Homemade biscuits crushed 10-12
  • Vanilla custard powder 4 tbsp
  • Jelly for garnish


  1. Boil milk and add sugar.
  2. Then mix custard powder with 1 cup water and put in milk.
  3. Then stir it continuously so that no lumps forms.
  4. When custard powder dissolves completely, cook on low flame for 5 minutes and stir it continuously.
  5. Then remove from flame and cool it completely.
  6. Then make layer of half crushed biscuits, 2 bananas, 2 apples, 5 strawberries, 5 pineapples, half melon, half custard and half cake.
  7. Then make another layer of remaining crushed biscuits, bananas, apples, strawberries, pineapples, melon, custard and cake.
  8. Then garnish with cherries and jelly and serve chilled.

Fruit Trifle is very popular and common sweet dish in Pakistan. It is prepared with fruits, milk, cake, biscuits and custard powder. Garnished with jelly and serve chilled. You can add more fruits.
