Hari Mirch Kay Pakoray is very popular fried snack in Pakistan. You can make it at home easily.

Ingredients:

For Filling:

  • Big green chilies 10
  • White cumin 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Tamarind pulp as required
  • Chaat masala as required

For Batter:

  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Baking soda 1 pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Oil for fry

Direction:

  1. For batter: Put all ingredients except oil in bowl and make thick batter with water.
  2. For filling: Mix white cumin, red chili powder, salt, black pepper, tamarind pulp and chaat masala in bowl and make paste.
  3. Then cut green chilies from center in lengthwise and take out seeds.
  4. Then fill it with paste.
  5. Then dip green chilies in gram flour batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden and crisp.
  6. Then take out in dish and serve with chutney.

Hari Mirch Kay Pakoray is spicy and crispy snack dish. Green chilies is filled with spices and dipped in gram flour batter. Then deep fried and served with chutney.
