Puff Pastry, Chicken Patties, Vegetable Patties, Puff Biscuits And Apple Strudel by Sara Riaz

Puff Pastry

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams flour..
  • Salt 1 tea spoon.
  • sugar 1 tea spoon.
  • Butter 250 grams.
  • Cold water as required.

Method:

  1. Put flour,salt,sugar in a bowl and mix them properly.
  2. Now add oil in mixture and knead the mixture well and coll mixture in fridge.
  3. After that add cold water and knead mixture again and leave for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Now roll the butter on plastic wrap and roll it until it becomes thin rectangular shape.
  5. Roll dough by rolling pin and make a square layer.
  6. Now put the butter into the center of the dough and fold the all sides.
  7. Press the dough with hands.
  8. Again roll the dough from rolling pin and roll it until it becomes square shape.
  9. Cover the folded dough into plastic wrap cool the dough in fridge for 1 hour.

Chicken Patties

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken 250 grams.
  • Salt (depend on taste).
  • Green chilies 3.
  • Paste of garlic 1 spoon
  • Puff pastry 250 grams
  • Black paper (depend on taste).
  • onion 1.
  • Eggs 1.
  • Oil 2 spoon.

Method:

  1. Firstly Wash chicken then cut into pieces.
  2. Now put oil and ginger in frying pan and fry it lightly then add chicken and fry chicken until cook well.
  3. Add salt.
  4. When it is ready add chopped onion ,green chilies and black paper and fry it for 1 minute.
  5. Now mix all the mixture by using chopper and cool mixture for few minutes.
  6. After cooling them,cut the puff pastries in round shape.
  7. your chicken patties are ready.

Vegetable Patties

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastries (according to need).
  • Chopped potato (cube shape) 3.
  • Peas 1/2 cup.
  • Carrot 1.
  • salt 1 tea spoon.
  • Red Chili flakes 1 tea spoon.
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tea spoon.
  • Black paper powder 1/2 tea spoon.
  • Cheddar cheese.
  • Oregano 1/2 tea spoon.

Method:

  1. Boil potato (cube shape),peas 1/2 cup and 1 carrot.
  2. when water water dry from vegetable,Mash vegetables.
  3. Now add 1 tea spoon salt,1 tea spoon red chilies powder,1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder, 1/2 tea spoon red chili flakes and 1/2 tea spoon oregano in vegetable and mix spices properly.
  4. Add 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
  5. Make patties from puff patties.
  6. Fill vegetable in patties.
  7. Put patties in oven and heat it for 180C and bake patties for 20-35 minutes
  8. Your vegetable patties are ready.

Puff Biscuits

Ingredients:

  • Puff pastry sheets.

Method:

  1. put puff pastry sheets in rolling board and roll it by rolling pin and roll it until it becomes thin
  2. Cut the puff pastry sheet into rectangle or circle shape.
  3. keep your pieces on aluminum tray.
  4. Put pieces in oven and bake it at 230 C for 15 minutes.
  5. Take out tray and flip pieces and bake it again at 180C for another 15 minutes.
  6. If your puff biscuit soften then set oven at 160 C for 10 minutes or bake it until it become crispy.
  7. Your puff biscuit are ready.

Apple Strudel

Ingredients:

  • Brown sugar 1 cup.
  • golden raisins 1 cup.
  • milk 1/4 cup.
  • Egg 1 cup.
  • puff pastry sheet (frozen) 1.
  • 3 apple (slices).
  • 1 apple coarsely chopped.

Method:

  1. Add apple in bowl,Mix brown sugar and golden raisins
  2. Put puff pastry on baking plate or sheet
  3. Roll pastry sheet
  4. Fill apple in pastry sheets and seal all the edges around the mixture
  5. mix egg and milk
  6. Brush mixture of egg and milk onto a top of the pastry
  7. Put your pastry in oven at 200C for 30 to 40 minutes or until light brown
