Ingredients for Masoor Pulao:

  • Oil 1 cup
  • Onion 1 medium
  • Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
  • Clove 4
  • Black pepper 8
  • Cinnamon 2
  • Bay leave 2
  • Curry leaves 10
  • Mince 750 gm
  • Red chili 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Black masoor daal 1 cup
  • Green chili 4-6
  • Rice 500 gm

Method:

  1. Heat oil and do onion light pink.
  2. Then put ginger garlic paste and garam masala and roast little.
  3. Now add mince, put red chili, cumin, turmeric and salt and put yogurt after approx 5 minutes.
  4. Then add black masoor daal and do little soft.
  5. In end, put soaked rice and cook on low flame.
  6. Close stove till rice becomes soft and keep on simmer for a while.
  7. When ready, serve hot.
