Chicken Keema by Rida Aftab

Ingredients:

  • Chicken mince 1/2 kg
  • Onion 250 gm
  • Tomatoes 1/2 kg
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Cumin seeds 2 tsp
  • Cardamoms 6
  • Cloves 6
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Asafetida 1 pinch
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • Green chilies 6
  • Green coriander 1/2 bunch
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil as required

Method:

  1. Heat oil, put bay leaves, cumin seeds, cardamoms, cloves, asafetida, fenugreek seeds.
  2. When fragrance comes, add chicken mince and roast it nicely.
  3. Now put onion, tomato, coriander powder, salt, turmeric and red chili powder and cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Then add yogurt, green chilies, lemon juice and green coriander, keep on simmer for 10 minutes and then close the stove.
