  • Chicken with skin 1
  • Cumin seed 1 tsp
  • Coriander seed 1 tbsp
  • Dried chilies whole 3
  • Ginger minced 1 tbsp
  • Garlic minced 2 tbsp
  • Hot paprika 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1/2 lemon
  • Lemon zest 1 lemon
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Honey as required

For Tzatziki Sauce:

  • Cucumber 4
  • Yogurt 1 kg
  • Garlic clove crushed 3-4
  • Fresh lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Dil finely chopped 1 tbsp


  1. First toast cumin seed, coriander seed and dried chilies whole in dry pan until fragrance comes.
  2. Now grind in grinder and make powder.
  3. For marination: Mix grinded powder with ginger minced, garlic minced, hot paprika, lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, salt and pepper.
  4. Marinate chicken with mixture for at least 3 hours.
  5. Now roast chicken in preheated oven on 180 degrees C.
  6. Then keep 1 cup water on bottom of wire rack in oven, sot heat it steam fast.
  7. Now roast chicken for 55-60 minutes.
  8. In end, heat oven on 200 degrees C for 20 minutes.
  9. When ready, take out and serve.
  10. For tzatziki sauce: Cut cucumber into long. Now take out it seeds. Then cut cucumber into cubes.
  11. Now beat yogurt with lemon juice and olive oil.
  12. Then put cucumber, garlic clove crushed and dil finely chopped, mix it and add salt and pepper.
