Lasagna Bolognese by Shireen Anwer

Ingredients:

  • Mince 1/2 kg
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Onion chopped 4 tbsp
  • Carrots 1
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • Tomato paste 4 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oregano leaves 1 tsp
  • Mushrooms chopped 4
  • Ginger garlic 1 tsp

For Cheese Sauce:

  • Butter 2 oz
  • Flour 2 oz
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard 1/2 tsp
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Stock 1 cup
  • Cheddar cheese 1/2 cup
  • Lasagna sheets boiled 8

Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan, put chopped onion and fry for a while.
  2. Now put ginger garlic paste, chopped carrot and mince and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Then add salt, black pepper, tomato paste and 1 cup water and cook until mince tender.
  4. Now boil lasagna sheets separate and keep it aside.
  5. Then line oven proof dish with 4 boiled lasagna sheets.
  6. Now put bolognese sauce.
  7. Then make layer of boiled lasagna sheets.
  8. Now spread cheese sauce and sprinkle cheddar cheese.
  9. Then bake it for 15 minutes until cheese melts.
  10. Now serve it immediately.
