Ingredients:

For Short Crust Base:

  • Butter 4 oz
  • Flour 6 oz
  • Caster sugar 2 oz
  • Vanilla essence few drops
  • Egg yolk 1

For Filling:

  • Raisin 2 tbsp
  • Orange peeled 2 tbsp
  • Almonds 2 tbsp
  • Glazed cherries 2 tbsp
  • Glazed green chilies 2 tbsp
  • Currents 2 tbsp
  • Pistachio chopped 1 tbsp
  • Walnuts chopped 2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon 1/4 tsp
  • Egg 2
  • Jam 3 tbsp

Method:

  1. For base: Beat butter with caster sugar and vanilla essence until fluffy.
  2. Add egg yolk and fold in flour.
  3. Then put mixture on table and knead dough with soft hands.
  4. Sprinkle flour on table and roll dough.
  5. Now cut with round cutter and spread on tart tray.
  6. For filling: Mix all ingredients nicely.
  7. Then put 1 tbsp mixture on empty tart and bake on 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.
