Gujia

Ingredients:

For dough:

  • Flour 1/2 kg
  • ghee 100 gms
  • soda 1/2 tsp
  • water 200 ml
  • milk solids 250 gms

For filling:

  • Almonds 50 gms
  • pistachios 50 gms
  • cardamom powder 1/4 tsp

For syrup:

  • Sugar 1/2 kg
  • water 250 ml
  • ghee for frying.

Method:

  1. Prepare a sugar syrup by adding water and sugar, keep aside to cool
  2. Mix khoya,almonds, cardamom powder and pistachios in a bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl add ghee, water and soda then mix add flour as well and kneed
  4. Now make small balls.
  5. And fry in hot oil
  6. When they are golden brown take them out and put them in the sugar syrup
  7. Garnish with pistachios.

Urhat ky ladoo

Ingredients:

  • Golden split flour 1/2 kg
  • ghee 300 gm
  • milk solids 1 kg
  • sugar 750 gm
  • charmagaze 100gm
  • poppy seeds 50 gm
  • gond kani 50 gm
  • pistachio 100 gm
  • cardamom 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. Fry the gond kani. and wash the poppy seeds with water.
  2. In a pan cook golden split flour and ghee.Then add khoya , mix and add sugar as well 
  3. Cook on low flame.Then turn the stove off and add popp seeds and charmagaz.
  4. Cool and with the help of your fingers make the ladoo and keep them on a plate.
  5. Garnish with pistachios

Balushahi

Ingredients:

  • Flour 250 grams
  • ghee for frying 
  • baking powder 1 tsp
  • yogurt 2 tbsp
  • pistachio for garnish

For Syrup:

  • Sugar 1 kg
  • water 500 ml ltr

Method:

  1. In a bowl add melted ghee, baking powder and yogurt.
  2. Then flour and make a dough , next make small balls in the shape of balushahi.
  3. Fry these balushahi in oil until they are golden brown.
  4. Once ready immediately dip in syrup and once the syrup is absorbed take them out.
  5. Garnish with pistachios
