Caramel Sauce by Zarnak Sidhwa

Ingredients:

  • Brown sugar 1 cup
  • Cream 300 ml
  • Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
  • Butter 60 gm

Method:

  1. Combine all ingredients in saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Cook, stirring for 3 minutes or until boiling.
  3. Reduce heat to low.
  4. Simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour warm sauce over warm cake.
  6. Cut into wedges.
  7. Serve.
